Tevral is the founder of Ethno-fi Records and began releasing self-produced works in 2025.
Tevral’s musical path spans rock, pop, wind ensemble, and various forms of folk and traditional music. Along this journey, Tevral encountered the warmth of Lo-fi sound and began crafting Lo-fi beats that carry human traces within their imperfections. Tevral’s experiences in Indonesia — playing alongside local gamelan musicians — and Tevral’s tabla sessions in India deepened Tevral’s connection to the living energy embedded in traditional music.
Through Tevral’s ongoing encounters with folk traditions, he was gradually drawn to the vitality and spirit that reside within these sounds. From this meeting of Lo-fi nostalgia and the mystical power of ethnic musical roots, Tevral proposes the concept of ethno-fi.
In 2026, Tevral launched Ethno-fi Records through MS Records, offering works designed to guide listeners into an inner trip — a quiet journey through sound, memory, and unseen timelines.

2026.1.30 Release
The first release from Ethno-fi Records.
Morning light, drifting dust, the murmur of crowds, quiet rain, and memories
along the horizon — five tracks that weave the mystical essence of folk
traditions into fragments of everyday life, guiding listeners on a journey
across time and space.
Since ancient times, humans have sung and played music. At moments of courtship, during the hunt, in rituals of governance — music has always evolved alongside the rhythms of human life.
With the rise of technology, music has undergone countless transformations. I, too, have been captivated by music since childhood — performing, composing, learning — and have felt these shifts unfold through my own hands and ears.
Today, with the rapid development of generative AI, we have entered an era where anyone can create high‑quality sound. The tools available to us now far exceed the future I once imagined, and music has become more open and accessible than ever before. I am genuinely excited by these technological possibilities.
Yet in this age where content is produced at an accelerating pace, I found myself pausing to reflect. In this vast ocean of sound, what does a truly meaningful musical experience look like for an individual? What kind of music can accompany a person’s inner world — their time, their quiet moments, their unseen emotions? This question began to grow quietly within me.
One answer emerged as I explored the meeting point between folk traditions — where the traces of human life remain embedded in sound — and chillhop, with its narrative warmth and introspective flow. In the moment where these two timelines overlap, I felt a doorway open toward a world not yet seen.
This is how Ethno-fi Records came to life as a label under MS Records. In an age overflowing with more content than one could hear in a lifetime, I want to create works to which you might entrust even a small part of your time. And I hope that these sounds become a gentle invitation — a quiet spark that expands the landscape of your inner world.
